About Us
Mission Statement/Biography
Pull Up Park Jam, Inc was formed for the charitable purpose of promoting fit and healthy lifestyles in our communities, through hosting fitness competitions for men, women, and children. One of PUPJ's primary goals is to reinforce the importance of physical fitness and how it affects every aspect of one's life. Another is to allow our competitors to be mentally engaged and ready to test their physical capabilities year round. When speaking of the foundation of the calisthenics bar culture in NYC, all roads lead to PUPJ, as our events cover all the basics of calisthenics and promote movement as a stepping stone to an overall healthier and more balanced lifestyle.
No longer just locally revered, with 20 years of hosting community fitness competitions under our belt, Pull Up Park Jam events draw competitors from various States like California, Texas, Illinois, Florida, to international countries as far as Japan and Russia. Our competitions continue to strengthen community solidarity through attendance and participation. Known for reps and sets, In a way, competing in PUPJ events is a rite of passage in one's fitness quest. The first & only of it's kind, PUPJ brings the true essence of positive fundamental calisthenics and remains the longest running of any calisthenics competition worldwide right here in Brooklyn, New York.
Body Built Beautiful By the Bar, aka 5B's Productions would like to thank each & every one whom supported our Pull Up Park Jams since it's inception in 1998 at 21's Park (J. Robinson Park) and throughout the years to Lincoln Terrace Park. Salute all of our Competition Alumni.
